The U10 Cheetahs win after first penalty shootout!

The Bure Valley Cheetahs U10’s came away with a win today against Beccles via our first ever penalty shoot out. 

A much tighter game than it should have been, we had so many good chances which could have made for a comfortable win (we’ll continue to work on our finishing).

The girls played some of the best football of the season today with a lot of lovely passes leading to lots of goal scoring opportunities. Plus we were very solid again, I can only think of one shot on target from Beccles which they scored from.

A 1-1 draw at full time and AET meant our first penalty shootout which we managed to win 3-2. On to the next round!

Well done girls, we’re very proud of your performance and for the bravery to step up and take a penalty under pressure.
