Vixens' win worth the wait

Wow! What a game! We needed that win and knew it was coming - so well deserved!

Under our new management team of Kate Eva the girls came out fighting from the off!

To start we had Lola B in goal, Edie and Lily in defence, Mia, Edith and Kitty holding up the mid field and Bea up front. Horsford scored an early goal but our heads didn’t drop and after a switch around at half time Bea soon levelled the playing field after receiving a great assist from Lola Bella! Edith, so strong all game, taking every chance you had, so unlucky not to bag a goal today!

Before we went back for the final quarter we talked about how happy we would be with a draw but secretly we knew that win was coming……in comes Lola Bella, following a solid and composed corner from Edith, scored our winning goal!

All we had to was hold on and hold on we did! Mia and Lily, solid in defence and Kitty super disruptive in centre mid supporting Edie in goal who managed to save an absolute clincher!

Our first win for a while…..we deserved that today. I am proud beyond words of all of you!

Oppositions player - Lola Bella - so adaptable and full of energy, really well deserved goal today!

Parents players - Mia and Lily - worked fantastically together in defence - well done girls!
